The Princesses Among Us

I am the beautiful daughter of the Living God. (1 John 3:1, Isaiah 43:1)

Specifically sought after and chosen before the foundation of the world to walk with Him. (Ephesians 1: 4-5)

Adopted into God’s family and seated in heavenly places with my Lord and Savior, Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6)

I am the head and not the tail, I am above and not below. (Deuteronomy 28: 13)

I am blessed in the city and blessed in the country. (Deuteronomy 28:3)

I am blessed going in and blessed going out. (Deuteronomy 28:6)

Everything my hand touches will prosper as I follow His commands (Deuteronomy 28:8)

I am fully equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

I can accomplish everything He assigns while I am here on the earth with my confidence and competence coming directly from Christ Himself. (Philippians 3:13, 2 Corinthians 3:4-5)

I do not have to be perfect, for only Jesus is perfect, but (Hebrews 2:10-11) I will continue in His plan for my life, that He began on the day I received the gift of salvation, as an active participant. (Colossians 1:22-23, Philippians 1:6)

I desire to have the heart of Mary even in a “Martha” culture because what Mary chose was better. (Luke 10:41-42)

I can forgive others because His forgiveness toward me is overwhelming and limitless. (Psalm 103:1,3,10-12, Matthew 18:21-22)

I can run to Him with all my triumphs and accomplishments as well as my hurts and disappointments. (Hebrews 4:16)

He is available to heal my life in profound ways. (Isaiah 42:1,3,7)

He can heal anything in me that is bruised or broken. (Isaiah 57:18-19)

As He heals my life, I can become an instrument to aide in the restoration of my neighbor. (2 Corinthians 1: 3-4)

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. (John 14:6)

His Word is Truth. (John 17:17)

I will not assist my enemy by agreeing with the messages intended to harm and hinder. (John 17:17)

I will believe God, His Word, and His Spirit alone. (Exodus 20:3)

Don't ever give in. Don't ever quit. Don't ever surrender. What gives me the right to say that? Mountains of impossibility that I have walked through: 6 1/2 years of infertility, an adoption that did not go through, two seasons of helping raise other people's children, a miscarriage, paid back every cent of 85K of debt, crisis pregnancy, raising a special needs daughter, the death of that daughter, divorce etc... With every challenge came real wounds, but something else in juxtaposition to the scars: wisdom, and treasure. Real riches found on very broken paths. Some of my closest friends have caught my tears big, wet, snotting up, warm tears, but they have also "seen" the gifts acquired along the way. They have experienced hope in hopeless situations. They have gleaned tenacity in unbearable circumstance. And to be VERY CLEAR this is not because I am strong, very much the opposite. I KNOW how weak I am. Don't give up. Don't give in. Don't surrender. "For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You." 2Chron 20:12. My mom would say, "Shoulders back, chest out!" I would add to that, fix your eyes on the only One who declares, "You are more that a conqueror!"

  4. As always, the Lord has given you such eloquent words to express His heart and His truths. You are truly blessed beyond measure, with an abundance of treasure layed up in heaven. Love you!
